We’re proud to announce that our identity work for Pirate has been featured in Counter-Print’s new book, Big Type. This eclectic publication highlights some of the most compelling and effective projects in graphic and identity design, with a special focus on expressive typography.
In today’s visually saturated world, making an impact is more challenging than ever. Brands are constantly vying for attention, and Big Type explores how typography can help brands cut through the noise. The book showcases a wide array of projects that push the boundaries of type design and visual identity, offering fresh perspectives on how creative approaches to typography can elevate brand presence.
Our work on Pirate’s identity embodies this spirit of bold, type-centric design. With its daring use of type, our project has been recognised as one of the most notable type-led brand identity initiatives in recent times. We’re thrilled that our contribution is celebrated alongside such inspiring examples of how typography shapes visual culture.
In addition to its striking visuals, Big Type offers readers valuable insights with interviews and thought-provoking commentary from leading designers. It’s a great resource for anyone passionate about the role of typography in identity design.
