All socks go to Field Day

Field Day Festival has always been highly individual, defiantly left-field and never takes itself too seriously. Year on year, they stick to their guns, cutting through the news with a bold and irreverent campaign.
Our concept for Field Day 2024 was simple — we’re having a Field Day. We stripped back the veneer in a joyous celebration of the weird, the wonderful, the beautiful and the not so beautiful. We wanted to mark how Field Day served as an antidote to drudgery, an escape from the trappings of a manufactured world.
We chose to do this through the medium of sock puppets, exposing the bare hands of the puppeteers, so you see the real people behind the mask.
The puppets are deliberately scrappy and unpolished - comprised of everyday household materials, reflecting the messiness of everyday people; everyday lives. Each puppet has its own distinctive personality, instantly recognisable as one of the many larger-than-life characters you might bump into at the festival.
